Finding Joy in the Ordinary Moments

Sometimes the most sacred moments happen in the most ordinary places.

Like when your nonverbal child reaches for your hand. Or when your teenager with autism laughs at something genuinely funny. Or when your spouse with chronic pain still manages to smile at you across the room.

These moments — the ones that wouldn't make anyone's highlight reel — these are the treasures.

I've learned that joy isn't about everything going right. It's about choosing to see the beauty in what IS, even when it's not what we planned.

Today, I challenge you to notice three small moments of beauty. Maybe it's the way the sunlight hits the kitchen window. Maybe it's a moment of peace during naptime. Maybe it's the sound of your child's breathing — steady, safe, alive.

These are your treasures, sweet friend. Store them in your heart.
