When You Feel Like You Can't Do This Anymore

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

Matthew 11:28

Dear weary caregiver,

I see you. The one who hasn't slept through the night in years. The one who smiles at therapy appointments while crumbling inside. The one who Googles symptoms at 2 AM and prays desperate prayers at 3 AM.

I've been there. I am there.

There are days when the weight of caregiving feels absolutely crushing. When you've changed the sheets for the third time, managed another meltdown, advocated at another IEP meeting, and there's still dinner to make and medications to organize.

But here's what I want you to hold onto today: Jesus doesn't say "Come to me, all you who have it together." He says come to me when you're WEARY. When you're BURDENED. That's His invitation — not for the strong, but for the tired.

So today, wherever you are, just come. You don't need to have the right words. You don't need to be put together. Just come as you are — exhausted, frustrated, scared — and let Him hold what you can't carry alone.

*Prayer: Lord, I'm so tired. I don't know how to keep going some days. But I'm coming to You right now, just as I am. Give me rest for my weary soul. Remind me that I don't have to carry this alone. Amen.* 💕
